Lots of events in Sweden during the weekend

When darkness fell in Stockholm Saturday 12th people in the central square Sergels torg could see small lanterns forming the numbers 350. Flyers and speeches from the Swedish tcktcktck-net told about the necessity to reach the goal 350 ppm and stressed that the Global warming isn´t just a future threat but already negatively inflicting the daily livings of millions of poor people.

Afterwards the Stockholmers were invited to the Swedish hub-center in The Culture House to write down their own messages on the Wall or follow what is happening in Copenhagen in the direct video link the Hub is running every day.

Greenpeace had a manifestation outside the Government Building with 300 light symbolizing the 300 000 people already dying as a consequense of Global warming. Prime Minister Fredrik Reinfeldt, head of the EU at the moment, was addressed to take strong action for a binding, fair and ambitios agreement in Copenhagen.

Four other events in Stockholm were reported and another 30 around Sweden.

On Sunday more than 300 church bells around Sweden could be heard in the afternoon, each of them sounding 350 times. Two thirds of all Swedes belong to the Swedish Church, member of the Swedish tcktcktck-net.
