htp://www.agiprodj.com 866-PRO-MIXX (776-6499) DJ Ty & DJ Rick share their personal experiences over the course of their DJ careers.

Rick tells about being the guy just getting started charging $200, to the wedding specialist that quit his day job working in the corporate world to becoming a full time wedding specialist that gets $2500+ / event.

DJ Ty talks about his early start in high school doing mobiles, and how he progressed into spinning in local clubs, turning modest bars into rockin hot spots and bringing Video DJing to the forefront. Negotiate that contract up front and make sure if you can bring it, that you get paid for it!

These guys have the knowledge and are WILLING to share it with you.

Trust the guys and gals at agiprodj.com - they're real DJs, using the gear they sell everyday, making real money, and always there to help you do the same thing to your career!

  • I love watching this, and it has nothing to do Ty and me sharing OUR stories, but more to do with the potential that everyone has in this industry. Every DJ matters, every story matters. We can all learn from each other.

  • Wow! I loved hearing your background stories, they are very similar to my own. Started doing the school dances and house parties in my early teens (Dad used to drive me & gear to gigs). Progressed to the Club and Wedding circuit here in Toronto, Canada.

I'm a big fan of DJ Rick and his BassisLoaded channel, as he's one of the few Wedding guys, besides myself, that finds it very important to Beat-Match during a wedding.

Thanks for posting, keep up the good work!

  • I want a job doing this i love making music my parents think that this is a useless job but they don't understand my love for music i have a lot of creations only one on youtube right now

  • Great background stories guys. I appreciate you taking the time to talk to me every time I call. I could remember talking to Justin, then Jason, now Ty & Rick.

I was in a state of shock when you guys temporarily shut your doors in 2007. AGIPRODJ has definitely improved the DJ industry as a whole! Keep up the great work. I love your videos.

  • I think i need to move to the US if you can get over $2000 a gig. Here in Germany for your normal B-day, wedding gig you're struggling to to get more then $650. There's a few DJ's who can get more that for exclusive events and those playing at clubs. But on the whole, the average DJ here can't sustain a living as a sole DJ

  • "Its my life, take or leave it. Set me free. What the crap and I know it all to live your own life"

  • so true.. i called these guys 3 years ago and they helped me with every stupid question I asked.. still always order my stuff from here..

  • Thats a great story! I like to hear from people who breathe the dj life

    thanks!

  • good for you guys but here... damn Utah is so cheap... they wont pay you a grand for a prom at all, it sucks, and then you compete with shitty djs and students from BYU dj wannabes who do it for free... anyways... that's life here... maybe Y need to move somewhere else.

  • Realy great video guys... wish you guys were in the uk. I must agree with Dj Rick i myself play mobile gigs like a club and its paing off cuz it giving people somthing different.. cheers guys!!
