@Paxmax I see in Sweden a polarisation trend in people using christianity just as a cultural battering ram against Islamisation, even if they do not actually believe in jesus or god at all.

About asatro: the power of "it" today is that it's obvious make-belief and (almost)no one claims those gods exist. That makes it a pure cultural heritage and people are satisfied with just romanticising about it. That enables atheists to chime in. It predates christianity -and like you say it's a pale ass white thing. I wouldn't say "many" celebrate those traditions but certainly some do. All abrahamic realigions are scared witless of the world loosing the fear of god in people.

@TheVikingNinja oh yeah, I need to elaborate, but you open up so many cans of worms and ham it's impossible to keep up! I think I've said it before, you are a bit of "great conspiracy" lover, aren't you? =o) I've been trying to read up on the holocaust deniers, I find it yet very unconvincing. At least I can't imagine a hoax as big as the holocaust can be pulled off almost flawless, just like 9/11 wasn't done by Bush admin or by jews.

@TheVikingNinja cont. and thos who deny difference usually try to make outspoken "difference acceptors" also come off as racists. Now "racist" has become a very worn out word, soon totally devoid of it's meaning. When I say racist I mean person who would denigrate different ethnicities, and call then inferior. However, speaking the truth about certain statistical inconvenient matters pertaining intelligence or hormonal level hould not count as racism even if it may insult large groups of people

@TheVikingNinja I do care, I want to elaborate -especially since many things you say sounds offensive(racist) to me. I find it amazing how people globally are are actually really alike though we have been mostly separated for 70-100 biological generations. Organisms of our complexity will be different after that many generations and I find people all around me who are trying to hide that (you are not one of those). Those who accept difference and are outspoken come off as racists. cont.

Who needs christmas when the world gots Yule! "Christmas tree" is oxymoronic. Yes the world is f ' ed up looking at it from a helicopter perspective, but once you get down to the details there are explanations I'm afraid.

@Paxmax Care to elaborate? I just worry about things. I don't really get anything out of being concerned or trying to do something. I sometimes wonder if it's biological, like how rhinos instinctively put out fires when they see them even though they don't really have to.
