No 2807 visited Cheltenham Racecourse Station for the first time (in preservation) on 22 April 2011. Although No. 2807 had been operational on the Gloucestershire Warwickshire Railway since August 2010, the landslip at Gotherington meant that the locomotive was unable to reach Cheltenham. The train hauled by No. 2807 was not only 2807's first visit to the station, but was also the first service train to Cheltenham Racecourse Station since the Gotherington landslip was repaired.
