i hope your saying that only Hitler(and his nearest men) and holocoust are evil, because regular german soldiers both in whermatch and in the ss was just soldiers, most of them didnt support the holocaust, they just followed orders and faught for their country..

@fardiemann Yes indeed, I am only saying Hitler, Mussolini, and the like are evil. You're right, most soldiers in the Wehrmacht were just doing what they were ordered to do. I do however respectfully disagree with including the SS in that category. They were most definitely NOT average soldiers, but rather Hitler's personal staff, under Himmler, and responsible for untold crimes against humanity.

I liked it until you said ''For America'' let us not forget the british who spotted the Nazi threat first and was bomed andsupplys were destroyed who took africa ,keeped india from the Japanese and won ital and sicaly and helped th french escape.The soviets wo held out and then took berlin the hreat of nazi germany and the free french army,and th french resistance and all the other resictance and then Every soilder in ww2 most German were forcd to join, let us never forget.

@timothydavey1 I absolutely agree with you on all those points. It wasn't my intention to say that only the Americans were heroes. As an American whose grandfather and uncles fought in the war, I just wanted to say thank you to my relatives and countrymen for their part. Certainly, I do appreciate the sacrifices of ALL men and women who took part in such a noble campaign! They all deserve our highest honor and full gratitude.

Because they were people too who also had families when some didn't have anything against Jews Allies did horrible things to Axis though it is true what the Germans did was horrible and can't be justified and they fought for their country as most people would and about the Allies didn't kill families thing is idiotic America killed tons of people in Hiroshima and killed thousands of innocent German citizens and as i said they were people too oh and Russians raped innocent German citizens.

@NoochMusicCompany It's all about what unit they are in.. there where SS units who didnt complete any (or very little) war crimes,like Wiking. But many SS-divisions where cruel like "Das Reich",who did so many nasty things it's not possible. I believe that Waffen-SS and SS have a little difference,SS was more political,and Waffen-SS was joined by Germans who wanted to be "the best".

@fardiemann Actually some (few) of Hitler's high ranking officers were never convicted such as Guderian and Rommel. Hitler was evil but some remembered their profession.
