  • @vintagetvreunions that's what was so great about 80's & 90's Neil concerts, I went along just for the hand motions. Did you catch the crowds hand gestures of rapturous applause?

  • Wow, I never noticed how much Neil moved his hands and arms in his performances. Thank God he's toned it down a great deal. It's too bad this concert is not up in its entirety.

  • I have such great memories of this. I think I went to the concerts in NY and DC and I remember how the crowd was going absolutely nuts for this. His voice is rough but he certainly gave it his all. Amazing performer! Thanks for posting. Off to look at the other songs.

  • This is a Fantastic Video. Got me up from my seat! If you pardon me Forever in Blue Jeans!! I love the new site Song Sung Blue Club. Join up.

  • @4evermore12 My younger niece had just been born, and now she is just about to graduate from high school! I have a story about how I had to miss the 1st night's show. One day in 1989, I promised someone I'd do something on Nov. 2, 1993. I remember thinking that a sign that I had grown up was that I didn't turn it down in case Neil Diamond came to town that night! After all, what were the chances that would happen? 100%, as it turned out! It's a good thing a 2nd show got added!

  • @rslitman We have exceeded our expectations. Smiles!

  • This was a two-night stand, and I was there on the other night. I remember thinking that this could possibly be the last time I ever saw him in concert. After all, I was 41, and he was very old at 52. But I have probably seen him more time since then that I had seen him at that time! And now I am 58, and he is about to turn 70!
