spot on analysis Silver.. i think winter and summer 03 were both awesome runs. I saw the last last 5 shows of winter and each night was better than the next though long island was definitley the best.. do you happen to have chula vista from 03? one of the best dwds and hoods ive ever seen live

treys chops are still very solid here, i like this tone better than his current tone. Despite the ross now, he still has that edgy sound, which i do not prefer to anything pre hiatuses

- Phish "2.0" has really grown on me - I like the risk taking in the music & really creating something new in the jams, often way out there without a net.
A lot of times it worked out nicely, so many great jams from the winter and summer '03 tours. Their focus was on the jamming, not really the precise, detailed composed sections.
They reformed with a new musical approach & Trey seemed happy and comfortable with his new guitar tone - it was where he was at after the hiatus.
