My "mini" 55 lb Rottie mix, Billie, hides behind our curtains, too. Oz reminds me so much of him! Even the back legs - we call this his "sultry pose."

@choppergirlJune there was a case in 2007 where a guy left a rotty in a sealed car during 1 of the hottest days of the year in toronto a animal control officer smashed the window of the car and with help of 2 bystanders began to treat the dog ,during which time the owner returned , handcuffing him to the car and leaving him there while he took the dog for treatment , by this time a crowd had gathered and adledges he was beaten though i don't condone the beating 2 thumbs up to the officer

she was so dayum buetiful her name was diamond she was a lil rough but had a gud heart she died in his car bcuz he didnt give her any water..i miss her doe :(

:(.. That is a horribly sad story.... poor sweet angel Diamond rip.. That is just a terrible death that she suffered...Her being forgotten in the car during a warm day even w/ water she still would have died from heatstroke... :( Dogs should NEVER be left in the car even if the windows are open & w/ water on a slightly warm day... even if it just 70 degrees outside - your car turns into an oven & fast! I just wrote an article on Heatstroke on my blog...
