Maybe you'll know what happen to my tripod ball head?

long time ago I was thinking about getting one but once I compared to other newer designs I choose the others. Before anyone buys it compare it to: really right stuff bh-55 and other ballheads out there. More and more pros choose the other ones.

Stu, thanks for the nice demo. I have a D700 and it would be nice to see it in action with a telephone lens, such as 300mm, in the portrait position. I'm pretty set on purchasing the Arca-Swiss Z1, and just wanted to make sure that the weight of the lens does not shift the camera in a portrait position.

@RobertWhitePhoto A d700 plate (I believe Kirk make them). I`ll be buying a 200mm f2 (vr"1") in a month, so I`ll but the z1 after. I know there are many plates and it must be a pain to stock them, but from a consumer standpoint its easier to have one online dealer who has both head and plate in stock

On their `site, Robert White doesn`t sell the arca-swiss plate I need for my d700, so I`d have to buy the plate elsewhere. There are other acra-swiss dealers who sell the z1 and the plate together
