@CanadianGuerrilla ya true.. most of the attacks into Canada where to get the British to take notice since the USA declared war on the U.K and the U.K thought the USA was joking lol.

Yeah I know, and you were faced by a mixed force of Natives, regulars and miltia. And there was a big numerical difference between us. But yeah the leadership was either too young, too old or they were just politicians. Until guys like WInfield Scott, William Henry Harrison and Brown came along. There were some great Canadian commanders too among the British: Drummond, de Salaberry, Macdonnell and Ducharme.

@CanadianGuerrilla  you do know most the invasions into Canada where poorly led and mostly Militia armies right? then again the USA really didn't have much of a Army let alone a military during that war.

But I'll give you credit for holding a defensive position definitely, lik eat New Orleans, Fort Stephenson (wince) and Fort Erie (double wince).

Um Waterloo was afterwards. June of 1815. And you suffered alot during your campaings in Canada against us and the Brits. You scored some notable victories, and for the first two years you dominated in ship-to-ship. But yeah we deafeated 12 seperate invasions, at places like Chateauguay, Queenston, Lacolle and our Canadian Voyageurs and Natives took the war south into Prairie du Chien and Lake Huron. Sure, a war that both sides ''won'', but we came out all right.

@MrMilfhunter2003 Um.....are you dumb ? The USA was around during this time, the USA defeated the British once and a tied in a second war with the war ending in their Favor.

Hell the USA defeat a good bunch of British Soldiers, that fought at Waterloo who where sent to fight in what became the Battle of new Orleans. funny thing is the USA only lost less then a Dozen men, while defeating the same British Units that fought against Napoleon a few months before.
