1993 Deluxe Plus stratocaster formerly named "Bertha," back with a new paint job, hardware and a new name - same aimless noddling though. Paintjob by Stike w/ Rowyco Kustoms Guitar Finishes.

Been looking at the GFS Pups for my Strat, and like the mellower Alnico II sounds, but would like something a tad more pushed, like 7k bridge but with the Alnico II mags. Cant seem to find anything, so I'll probably get a slightly over-wound set of Alnico V, and change the magnets to II's.

@IPushHard Thanks - I agreed about the bridge pickup on this set - the neck and middle sounded great but I needed just a little more in the bridge. I've since installed a set of Klein S-7's on this guitar that have Alnico III in the neck and middle and a slightly hotter (6.9K) Alnico V bridge...
