Total Gym Biceps curls are best used as an early biceps exercise and work well if supersetted with a core or abdominal exercise.

To work the core, keep elbows at shoulder level and DO NOT lower them at all.

In this example the client is not working his core. He also is not extending his wrists.

Extending the wrists during biceps curls will take out forearm involvement and help you isolate your biceps.

This will also spare your grip for lifting heavier weights later in your workout if that how you have it planned.
