Despite his back injury that remained for rest of his life,

Lee's striking speed from three feet with his hands down by his side reached five hundredths of a second.
Lee could take in one arm a 75 lb barbell from a standing position with the barbell held flush against his chest and slowly stick his arms out locking them, holding the barbell there for 20 seconds.
Lee's combat movements were at times too fast to be captured on film for clear slow motion replay using the traditional 24 frames per second of that era, so many scenes were shot in 32 frames per second for better clarity.
In a speed demonstration, Lee could snatch a dime off a person's open palm before they could close it, and leave a penny behind (Witnessed by M. Uyehara, the founder of Black Belt Magazine, etc)....
Lee would hold an elevated v-sit position for 30 minutes or longer.
Lee could throw grains of rice up into the air and then catch them in mid-flight using chopsticks. - Witnessed by many such as Joe Hyams
Lee could thrust his fingers through unopened cans of Coca-Cola. (This was when soft drinks cans were made of steel much thicker than today's aluminum cans).
Lee performed one-hand push-ups using only the thumb and index finger.
Lee performed 50 reps of one-arm chin-ups.
Lee could break wooden boards 6 inches (15 cm) thick.
Lee could cause a 300-lb (136 kg) bag to fly towards and thump the ceiling with a sidekick. ( According to Bob Wall, he has the video tape of him kicking 300lb bag towards the ceiling.)
Lee performed a sidekick while training with James Coburn and broke a 150 lb (68 kg) punching bag.
In a move that has been dubbed "Dragon Flag", Lee could perform leg lifts with only his shoulder blades resting on the edge of a bench and suspend his legs and torso horizontal midair.
Bruce lee was able to jump 8 feet from a stand still (this was shown in pictures and his films such as the one where he kicked the lightbulb out).

"There are no limits." - Bruce Lee

"I last saw Bruce after he moved from Culver City to Bel Air. He had a big heavy bag hanging out on his patio. It weighed 300lbs. I could hardly move it at all. Bruce said to me "Hey, Wally, watch this" and he jumped back and kicked it and this monster of a heavy bag went up to the ceiling, Thump!!! And came back down. I still can't believe the power that guy had". - Wally Jay

"Bruce Lee was the best fighter, physically, I've ever seen. And he hit the hardest. I've sparred with just about every top karate man in the sport, even had the wind knocked out of me by Joe Lewis side kick, but Bruce Lee hit harder than all of them." - Hayward Nishioka, Pan Am Games Gold Medalist in Black Belt interview 1994

"Bruce Lee was awesome. Absolutely awesome. He was fast as lightning, hit like a heavyweight. Great foot work, great defense, great offense and smart. The man was a true genius in martial arts.He could been world lightweight champion if he so chose. He was that good." - Bob Wall, Karate Champion in Black Belt interview 1994

"I've seen a lot of martial artists over the years, but Bruce Lee was the best. I was much older than Bruce when we met, but I was very experienced. Still, I could never touch him. He was so damn fast." - Jhoon Ree, Father of American Taekwondo

"Bruce Lee was far ahead of everybody else in that field. He had a vision that was years ahead of everyone." - Chuck Norris

"No other human being had ever trained the way Bruce trained - fanatically. He lived and breathed it from the time he got up at six o'clock in the morning until he went to bed at night. He was either working out or thinking about it. His mind was always active, never resting. He was always thinking about what he could do to improve himself or what new inventions were possible. His mind was constantly active. " - Chuck Norris

Watch Bruce Lee: A Warrior's Journey, this was a clip from it.....

Bruce Lee was incredible martial artist and far ahead of everyone's time.......

Many of Bruce Lee's written works still remain unpublished.

"Any technique, however worthy and desirable, becomes a disease when the mind is obsessed with it. "

"The highest art is no art. The highest form is no form." - Bruce Lee

please never remove this video. and i hope more people watch this and read the description, so so all the Bruce Lee's critics can know how good of a fighter he was. there are many who say that Bruce Lee wouldn't be able to take on today's mma guys, well, to them all i have to say is, they wouldn't know a good fighter if he hit them in their faces.

  • @Garvielok ya he got it too bruce is the man, i used to have his book and he had take downs and jjj submissions in it two, as well as a full boxing section of the book. bruce lee was mma way before it was called mma.

  • Lesson Number One:If You See Bruce Lee coming from a distance, run for you life

  • There is no defence against sheer speed.

  • Bruce lee invented full contacted mma fighting and was the first person to introduce head , leg and hand protection so people could spar a lot heaver than the points based martial arts at the time. He was a real world fighter and would have poked eyes out or kicked to the balls to win.

  • omae wa tong lung ga?

  • @RalfyBebe When you made this comment, you sounded like an arsehole.

  • When they filmed this movie Robert wall was a heavy weight champ in Karate & the Japanese guy was an Okinawan Karate champ in his weight class. Both friends of Bruce.

  • What I don't understand is why they are doing Kung Fu when shooting is easier ;P

  • @darksoulfighter so true. he never stopped training he was always in shape and im sure he had more condition than all mma fighters nowadays. the thing is people underestimate him all because he didnt have much weight.
