During the 1970's, an artist named Joseph Gitnig assumed the role of a wandering minstrel who called himself Pegasus and performed next to the seal lion pool in New York City's Central Park.

pegasus performed at my birthday party in the early 70's... i always wondered what happened to him... he was such a great part of my childhood memories. thanks for posting this!
