I love ALL black stallion movies, books etc. I have the episodes with a different Alec and i think a different Henry i think so yeah. I love them so much and its really sad for me when they all ended :(

FYI: the Arabian they used was Cass Ole and yes he was a stallion and it was reported that the boy and him got along very well.

Every time I watch this, I get goosebumps, and a big lump in my throat. The Black Stallion was one of the first proper books I read, when I was seven years old, and was pretty much the reason I started horseriding. I never knew a film had been made until I saw this - and these scenes could not be more perfect, the horse portraying the Black could not be more magnificent... Thank you for this!!! This is what people mean when they say "movie magic". Could anything be more exhilerating?
