Do the whole gun community a favor and take "assault rifle" our of the title and quit using the term for an AR. Your weapon isn't an assault rifle and we have to stay away from that terminology. All it does is scare the voting public into passing gun regulations that none of us want and America doesn't need. I'm not flaming you. You have a nice set up but you really do need to wise up on the terminology and gun safety practices. Stay safe brother.

@7ateyou safety on ar's cant be on if the bolt hasnt racked back and allowed the trigger to be engadged. which it was not.

@markquimby82 Couldn't agree more. Go to wikipedia at the least and see that AR does not stand for "assault rifle" yet ARMALITE rifle. If you want to keep your guns not just the AR think of how you are appearing to the general public.

@InfidelOpsSniper being semi auto doesnt mean it stops being an "assault" rifle. The term Assault rifle is used to denote the overall design and purpose of a gun. An AK-47 or AR-15 isnt any less of an assault rifle because it doesnt have a 3 rnd burst or full outo trigger group. I have the option of a burst mode on my patrol carbine and I stick to the semi auto for a number of reasons and my carbine is just as if not more effective than anyone elses.
