Watch an excerpt from the world premier performance of Christian Marclay's "Manga Scroll" published by Graphicstudio. Manga Scroll is a 60 foot long hand scroll composed from onomatopoeias translated from Manga. The performance took place at the Whitney on July 16th, 2010 as a part of the Christian Marclay Festival exhibition. Joan La Barbara is a composer/performer/soundartist based in New York City. Christian Marclay, artist/composer, explores connections between sound, noise, photography, video, and film in his art. He has worked with Graphicstudio on a number of projects.
