I liked Tim's (TPBest1978) tea bowls so I decided to make a video on Japanese tea bowls.

You can find the Cory Lum's video under his channel: yakimonomaker

  • There is absolutely no reason this could be considered a "japanese" tea bowl.

  • @kidkabitzer agreed. nothing about this demo indicates a Japanese tea bowl.

  • @srhpottery Please make a video and share what is wrong.

  • Wow, aren't the wall and the lip extremely thick? I wonder how pleasant it is to drink from them. Cool, though.

  • they aren't really intended to be drank from considering they will be raku.

  • I like your tea bowls. There is just so much personality and freedom.

I recently posted a series on tea bowls. Lots of fun.

I admire your ability to thow off the hump. It's a real challenge for me. I seem to get an un recoverable wobble. I also end up with S cracks. How do you compress the base when you throw off the hump?
