Diary of Abandoned & Disabled Kitten - HAPPY THANKSGIVING!

Forrest is doing well this week although he still has an ulcer on his bottom - but we are keeping it clean and dry and it is looking better. This Sunday, it was reasonably nice out so I let Forrest go outside. He, or course, meandered near the woods at the back of our home. He loves to hide under a huge cubby-hole under a big pine tree. We get nervous because of large birds and other predators but I keep a close eye on him and want to let him do some of the things he loves. We will see everyone next Sunday - Have a great Thanksgiving!!!

If you re watch that video. At the end where you said he is cold, to me it looked like his ear itched. Maybe when he does that, scratch his ears head area really well and see if he stops twitching. Can't hurt anything right? Your doing a great job. I remember that being one of the "big" things for the disabled dogs I took care of.

You are right - he does twitch and move his head to the side when his chin itches. I am always scratching his jaw and chin - he loves it!!

What a PURR! I love his cute purr! What a happy little boy! Thank you for giving him a chance at life. Many cats get on into old age with disabilities.

have you heard of the org. Pets with Disabilities? You can find their website through google. They help dogs/cats with special needs, some of which use wheelchairs to help them around. Is that something that you've considered for Forrest? I know the cost is probably an issue but I think this organization helps when they can.
