About Sauce:
SAUCE hails from Providence, Rhode Island and features the serious vocal talents of Chelsy Lau, winner of The Providence Phoenix's 2009 "Best Female Vocalist" award. The band draws from a concentrated mix of American, Latin, and Jamaican roots music, resulting in high-energy blend of funk, soul and blues. Featuring keyboards, guitar, tenor/alto sax, trombone and a powerful rhythm section, Sauce's sound is utterly danceable, but also textured. With grooves you can't refuse, catchy hooks, and powerful vocals, this band is guaranteed to get the party started.
