Neej Ntxuag Kua Muag 1/10

Aside from Neeg lub Neej, I really like this movie too. Both are kind of similar in ways, but this of course has a different ending

Summary: Tub Ntxhw and Hnub Ci have grown up together and fell in love when they were older. Unfortunately, his mother wants him to marry his cousin, Nkauj Mim.

He eventually marries Hnub Ci and they are very happy until one day Hnub Ci overhears Tub Ntxhws mom complain about how they didnt want him to marry her. She knows that they wanted him to marry his cousin.

Hnub Ci is hurt and she leaves Tub Ntxhw on a rainy day, telling him to marry his cousinhe does marry her later even though he hardly stays home. His mom finds out that Nkauj Mim is not the perfect daughter-in-law she had hoped—she cant cook, clean, sleeps all day and is super lazy (HA, suits the mom right for being a life-ruiner! ^_^)

Tub Ntxhw finally spots Hnub Ci when she walks in for a job interview but she runs off when she sees him. He also discovers that she had had his baby. When he goes to look for her its too sad as he doesnt have much time left with her.

(I just have to say Hnub Ci & Tub Ntxhws baby was super cute at the very end!)

I wish the ending was different a happy ending would be nice. Maybe someone could remake it someday with a happy ending (but they dont make meaningful movies like this anymore)

As this is one of the best Hmong movies. Total classic & must-see! I'm glad u upload it. I still have alot of the movies I saw during my childhood but too bad they're all on VHS & I don't know how to upload them on here.

i used to date this maiong vang girl in the early 90's. she's probably now a grandma, caus I'm now a grandpa, haha. she was so nice, smart, pretty, cute, and everything at that time to me, plus, she is also from a higher class hmong family too. i went to fresno to help her dad pulled grass lemon (tauj dub) one afternoon and i liked her family....forever will...........
