  • It's still cell-shaded. It's just a little part of cell shading which have been removed :the outlines.

  • @Demislav The outlines that you normally see *is* the cel-shading. This gets rid of them completely. So no, it isn't still cel-shaded.

  • It's not a benchmark, dumbfuck, it's a display of the game without cel-shading... It's like looking at an unpainted wall and going "OMG FRAMERATE"

  • I hardly see any difference at all.

  • cel-shading is the gradient of the shadows, not the black outlines.

    Borderlands was never cel-shaded.

  • i dont understand...this thing disable the shaders or what?

  • This just doesn't look right, the cel-shading was MADE for Borderlands :)

  • how did you disable the cel shaded effect ?

  • This is an major difference... I love it! XD I think this is better than that Saturday Morning Cartoon Crap that we get XD

  • the textures need to be changed to suit it more, texture currently look like they where made for cell shading!

  • @AudieMurphy01 no the outlines are not the cell shade, he was right. The cell shaded is how everything looks cartoony. Look up some early prototype borderlands pictures and youll see no cell shading.

  • Wow this looks way better, now we only need a texture patch to get rid of the comic-like textures.

  • @Demislav It's not cell shaded at all actually. It's painted textures with no normal maps. The outlines come from a post process material that finds edges.
