In Hollywood, the only thing worse than box office failure is getting old. What is that saying, he died old prematurely; it's what happens after a lifetime of alcohol and drug abuse...and a car accident or two. But, hey, 63, that's like living to be 91 in our world. I'll remember him the way he was in Big Wednesday, the greatest surfer flick in the universe.

They aren't being polite towards the man. Though he brought this on himself, what's the point in asking him painful questions such as those asked in this interview? Ask how he is doing NOW? His Likes or Dislikes, but why renew the old wounds?
