Thx Jeff...I'll be sure to tell my amigos your tip...AFTER they slam one into the lip of a bunker of course.

Jack,
Almost...if the obstacle is close(say 12 to 15 feet e.i. lip of a bunker) no it does not work, but because of the dimples, this idea is a OK rule of thumb from farther away!!!
-
Jeff...I've seen guys lay the club on the ground and step on the clubface lifting up the shaft at an angle. They claim this will tell them whether or not their shot will clear an obstacle in front (tree, etc.) . Is this a viable claim ?
-
Daniel...the proper PRO trajectory for a 6-iron is a piercing ball launched at 16 degrees with a fairly high last third of flight....You must be a SCOOPER!!
-
You could not be more wrong!

I saw the ball go under - would you move to Boise so I can take lessons? Thanks for the tips and keep them coming!
sorry, I guess I'm blind but I dont see the ball hit below the string

I assure you, it went well under...I know it's not super easy to see. The point is though that you have to do some fundamentally correct things to drive a 32 degree 6 iron under the string - or even close to the string for that matter!
