Remy Eats Chicken Feet (Food Oddities - www.foododdities.com)

Chicken feet are a food eaten primarily in China and some countries in South America. It's definitely not a food commonly eaten in North America. They're mostly bone and sinew, so even when someone does undertake the process of gnawing on a chicken foot, there's not a lot of meat to reward the eater.

Remy was shocked by the look of the things, first off. For some reason, they really looked like spindly monkey paws. No kidding. There's something deeply disturbing about picking up what looks like a hand in your own hand, and proceeding to eat it...

There was a Stop & Shop grocery store near me that had chicken feet along with things like cow liver and kidneys. Sadly, they went out of business over ten years ago. They wee replaced with a health food store that doesn't have anything interesting to eat. :-P

I went to Jin Wah (vietnamese restaurant) And Im not a Vietnamese but my Grandma and Mom order Chicken feet and its more different It looks like the same bone shape but its orange and it has sauce but its covered in it and its soft and you have to eat it and spit the bones out and It taste pretty good.
