1983 Dodge Challenger Project - Test Drive

A test drive of the 1983 Dodge challenger I am bringing back to life. The carburator needs work, its flooding and losing power, still drives ok....until it died.

Wow! My Father had a black on black 82' 5 speed with gold pinstripe, the 4 double spoke alloys, black screens over the headlights, black vents behind the back windows and blinds over the back glass. Man I loved that car when I was a kid! I nick named it the "Police Car" because of the whining siren like sound the motor made when you got on it! I also swore it was the fastest car ever! He sold it in 1993 and bought a brand new Chrysler LHS. I wish I could find it.

extremely rare i seen one in my cousins nieghborhood it looks nice its white it looks alot like a 79 fox body mustang just a bit wider

Dodge made this car from 1978-1983. However, yours is the first one I've ever seen. But it does run good, though!
