  • Here's a lil message to Dixie Carter & Vince McMahon - When a wrestler dies, you might want to make sure that your commentators take the segment seriously, because some of us take it personally when we detect that the commentators are a lil too eager and impulsive to want to get the video package over with as quickly as possible. Michael Cole......Tazz saved you during this segment. Tony Schavonie.....I'll never forget how disingenuous your commentary came off when you announcned Gorilla died.

  • RIP Freddie.

  • I don't like the way Michael Cole commentated on Blassie's death in this in this video. It's just not sincere enough for this diehard wrestling fan, and I would have rather preferred it if Jerry Lawler and Jim Ross would have announced that Blassie died on Smackdown, because, I know those two would have gotten the segment over correctly when they reported to the fans that Blassie had died. Michael Cole is too eager. He's too impulsive. He sounds like he can't wait to get this segment over with.

  • I begin my career in wrestling on Thursday. I'm going to be a wrestling manager for a wrestling promotion in Southern California. There are two people who inspired me to be a manager: One being Sensational Sherri, the other is Freddie Blassie.

  • @BennyYoung69 Amy Lee - My Immortal

  • :'(

  • What's the title of the song and who sings it please?

  • I honestly cried watching this r.i.p freddie

  • I just watched the Gorilla Monsoon tribute and this is another one that makes me very sad. One of the best memories I have of Blassie was as a little kid and seeing Wrestlemania. If you remember The Iron Sheik and Volkoff won the titles from Windham and Rotundo after Sheik hit Windham with Blassie's cane. The new champs were then interviewed by Mean Gene. Gene asked Blassie about the cane and Blassie was like what cane? I don't have a cane.

  • @howrude88 He was all of those - wrestler, manager, commentator. But most of all, he was a king of men.
