  • ummm you CANNOT take big game with a .22 no matter how good a shot you are. Unless you're within 3 feet of your target you're not taking down anything big.

  • @jakeouren03 i have seen plenty of big deer taken with a .22 at ranges of 25 to 65 yards....

  • really!! apparently this young man has never carried AMMO for nine guns, you can have 30 guns but without AMMO it's a stick. good ideas, but think about what you can carry when you have to leave your home or safe place to find a safer place. Ammo is heavy & bulky make sure what you choose to prep with is an all around and multi-use. unless you want to just get a stick

  • @1911mrk i am not planning on leaving my home....

  • hey great video! well i have a unique situation, See i started buying guns about ten years ago only because i liked them. I never thought that things would be headed in the direction they are now. So to my situation, i currently own around 50 handguns. ranging from glocks to XD's to vintage colt revolvers ect. as far as long rifle's i have more of them AR ,SKS ect... probably in the 100 range. its alot to keep up with ammo with this many calibers. think i should sell them & stock for select few?

  • @glock1042 it depends on your financial situation... if you can keep all of your guns and afford to buy bulk ammo for a select few and still have money to prep then i would do that. if not, i would pick the ones i thought would be the best, make sure you get down to as few calibers as possible and sell the rest.

  • @mauserman1000 I usually do not respond to stupid comments, but I have had a bad day so here we go.

A lot of preppers have extensive military backgrounds and training. I watched your "one" upload, what are you like 12? My advice it to stick to your video games and cheese puffs, there commando. I probably have been shot at more times then you have fired are real gun. call me when your nuts drop.

  • @sundogforlove pretty sure i have things figured out, but thanks for the suggestions.

  • Have my wz.88 Tantal and my 1911. They'll work just fine. And the polish know how to mke one hell of a battle rifle, especially for $400!

  • @jakeouren03 Poachers like 22's

  • @jakeouren03 Christopher McCandless killed a moose with a .22LR. Google it.

  • @glock1042 I would choose 5 guns. 1 battle rifle (AR/AK or even a pistol caliber carbine) for mid range engagement. 1 handgun for personal defense at close range. 1 Long gun for large game/longer range engagement. one sub caliber for small game (.22lr is best) and one shotgun. Focus on ammunition for those 5 and keep the others to use as trade when the dollar collapses.

  • I sold all of my Glocks, S&W's, and Colts and bought 1 pistol, a Hi-point 9mm and used the rest of the money to stock up on ammo and gold teeth. Hi-point, the ultimate battle pistol!

  • How about a .22, a 45, a .308 and a 12 ga? That about covers it, right?

  • slings and holsters are a MUST also very important peices of eqt.
