The song is from an album(Svarta Björn) dedicated to the story of a young Norwegian woman, Anna, who worked in the camps of the railroad builders in northern Sweden in late 19th century, when they were working to replace transports of iron ore over a 70 kilometer lake towards Norway's harbour of Narvik with a railway.
Anna had a hard life, and died very young without ever returning to Norway.
This song tells of the lighthouse by the shore of this large lake, built the same year Anna arrived.
