@sallyjotrue Part of the problem when you have a government/health care complex that is BANKRUPT is you have to start making the care into a financial decision. For example, two patients who need surgery, one is 73 and the other is 37. Now the price tag of the surgery and post operative rehab comes to $250,000. The 73 year old if they had the surgery would live another 5 years, give or take.The 37 year old would be able to work and cough up tax dollars another 40 years. The 73 y.o is dead..

Frankly this health care reform is to kill off the ol people who thrn will no longer nget SS or SSI or disability. This reform will kill off the disabled, the mentally challrnged, mentally ill; all of who are receiving government subsidies of one kind oe another. Abortions will decrease population growth.kill the old, the deficient, and humans in the womb. and in a few years and more lab vaccines of one kind or another, and population growth down from 6 1/2 billion to 500 million. We already have free programs to help make living wills. My Hospital/clinic does it for free, I had it done 10 years ago...a lot of places do.. So maybe...Soylent Green is People... Some idiots believe Medicare actually has money to save...Medicare is broke already...Without cutting or rationing how do you take a negative number of dollars and turn a pigs ear into silk to make a big savings to pay for things..that whu they can't explain it on tv or the town meetings.

Beck is a bully who pre-prepares his questions and knows in advance how to answer and then tries to make someone stumble....I think David Certner did a great job fending off this bully with the Glenn Beck. I truly believe he- Glenn Beck - needs anger management classes. Brining up things one indivdual wrote in 1995 is just inapporpriate and inefficient. Maybe Glenn can just let the person finish their thought before he rudely interrrupting.

Glenn Beck is trying to scare granny. Nothing in any proposed health care bill says you cannot buy supplemental insurance or pay directly yourself. That is how Medicare already works now.

The proposals to pay for end of life counciling were introduced by Republican legislators. What Beck is advocating is not to pay for such counciling. I suppose he would also ban hospice support, the post office, police, fire department, the military, etc. because of "government" involvment.
