First, his orders were 'rescinded'. Second, since he volunteered to go to Afghanistan (he was not issued orders to do so), he had the right to ask for a release from his volunteer service. He did not do so. Instead he threw in with Taitz. In the end, the case was tossed, the Army acted properly and Cook lost his civilian job. Bet he's happy he joined Taitz now.

When Cook took his oath as an officer, which is slightly different than the one I took as an enlisted man in the U.S. Marine Corps, he swore to obey the orders of the commander in chief. Whether Cook likes it or not he is guilty of disobedience of a direct order under the Uniform code of Military Justice (UCMJ). Obama is a U. S. citizen and the duly elected commander in chief. cook should obey the orders he was given.

No one "turned chicken". If you knew anything about how the military worked, you would know that the Army simply followed procedure. If Cook had done nothing, he still would not have had to deploy to Aghanistan. But by throwing in with Orly, not only did he have his case thrown out and his military career ruined, he also lost his Civilian job with a Defense contractor. So if that is your idea of winning....If Obama is a coward, why didn't Connie Rhodes not have her orders changed????
