Unlike cars, and utensils, and even knives hand-guns, assault-rifles and automatic rapid fire weapons (Uzis) are designed for one function shooting, or perhaps threatening to shoot people. Hunting-rifles (the clue is in their names) are mainly for hunting.

No, it isn't true. Are cars the main cause of car accidents? Eating utensils the cause of obesity? Tools of any kind can't cause anything on their own. If guns are the cause, then guns should be prosecuted, not people.

if guns were dangerous, nobody would get out of a gun show alive... people are the main cause of gun related deaths. I did the math once, you can too... look at how many guns there are, vs how many gun related deaths... 99.98% of all the guns in the U.S. were responsibly/safely held ;)
