Walt Johnson recorded this around 1977 on the fourth CHASE album, "Watch Closely Now" where surviving members of the band found the one guy who could bring that kind of sound and intensity back on trumpet, Walt Johnson. I remember taking lessons with Walt around this time, when the album was getting some airplay. Walt was also one of the most in demand lead players in Vegas before that, then in LA doing studio work, playing with Louis Bellson and Lionel Hampton, etc...
