Elvis Costello - "Watching the Detectives" & Spinning Songbook - Nashville 9/25/11

To be pulled on stage by your favorite artist is simultaneously thrilling, nerve-wracking and AWKWARD . . . but mostly thrilling. :D

I had already told my husband that if the Miss Kitty lady asks me to go onstage, I am NOT going in these heels! However what's a girl to do when Elvis Costello crooks his finger in an adorable come hither manner and then drags you onstage? (Yes, my arms ARE velcroed to my sides. Ha, ha.) The footage is so jerky because my husband is cracking up, trying to watch me, and film me at the same time. Wow! I've been to every Nashville Elvis Costello concert and loved EVERY one of them, but this show has to top them all. As a self professed music addict, I love a lot of different artists and bands, but Elvis C. has always remained my favorite. Elvis Costello and the Imposters perform at the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, TN on September 25, 2011.
