Review: Wonder Woman Animated Movie

Amber covers the animated Wonder Woman movie - here's a hint - it's AWESOME! Very few criticisms could be found for this film. It's PG-13 for all the decapitations and other violent imagery. Her new look is overall well done but the hair is a bit too Pocahontas for me. Great script. Great animation. Loved the actors.

One moment....you say you loved the Amazon's Attack storyline? The one where Wonder Woman is held captive by the American government so when the attack instead of going directly there they slaughter every innocent person both young and old that was male on the way. Did you like the scene of the father having a happy outing with his son only to have Amazons murder him in front of his son then kill him too? This arc should have never been done since now that they are gone I don't really care. lol

You have not seen the Marvel animated movies yet !? Shame on you. Marvel animated movies VS DC animated movies, Hmm... I say they are about equal. They both have good and not so good movies. I say you really have to go movie by movie not company by company.

I agree , Wonder Woman is one of the best DC animated movies out there. Batman: Gotham Knight is probably the worst. Amazing animation poorly written. My favorite is Superman: Doomsday. That one actually made me get all choked up.

I was disappointed in Superman:Doomsday because Doomsday was barely in it. I think he got 5 minutes of screen time at best.

Finally got the chance to get this on PPV last night. Overall I thought it was ok... there were a few things that were never explained well (like where the invisible jet came from all of a sudden) and Steve's one liners/drooling was a little overdone and silly at times. The line about the world being saved by "armored supermodels" was funny.

Not the best animated film ever, but it was entertaining.

I did LOVE this movie. Wonder Woman is an icon. Amazons are cool. I didnt like Amazon Attacks...what I wanted was that Amazons are hard to kill- HARDEST to kill and that theyre fabulous...and all have an individual mind and are not weak...super strong, bullet deflecting intelligent women...

this was a feminazi movie if ever saw one... women strong and good men bad and weak............ black widow in the ultimate avengers was a great strong female role in an animated comic movie.... o and about marvel vs dc dc is is more consistent but marvel makes some gems i recommend ultimate avengers,planet hulk, dr strange, hulk vs.......... as must see

and ulitimate avengers2 and next avengers are decent but nothing to write home about

That arc turned the Amazon's from warriors to mass murderers but that's okay since it has already be done before with the genders reversed. lol If they ever do bring back the Amazon's I'd like one thing to happen. They go back to America for some reason or another and are met by a very large mob of people who attack them because they remember what they did. Here's the problem though the mob is made up entirely of wives/sisters/daughters...etc of the ones they killed. Do they kill them or not?

The Wonder Woman is my favorite so far. As for Superman/Doomsday they could have more or at least different. Like instead of the clone they could have gone with the Cyborg Superman.

I agree I am a huge Bruce Timm animation fan and owning all the DC Universe films Wonder Woman is definitely one of the best. I just picked up Superman/Batman: Public Enemies, the story is a bit shallow but the action really makes up for it.
