i got my top and bottom braces today they are very sore the sides not my front but when i move my lips it gets caught on the brackets its anoying

I see you posted this a month ago... so, no doubt you have less difficulties now. I found the first week was the worst and living with braces not too too bad after that.

Hi Idolfan4 - Son did get his lower braces on yesterday - so, today his teeth are sore and he is gone to school.

SRrescue - wow, another newbie to the world of braces! I will have mine on a total of 18 months (I'm told) ... so till the May after this one.

im so happy, cause im getting my braces both top and bottom on march8, wich is thursday, so in 5 days =). so congrats on the whole thing. o and one more thing the canine teeth, is true true they remove the sharp parts.?

Wow. Great Ortho videos! Thanks for the tips. It was nice to see what I'm going to be dealing with. I'm getting braces the day after tomorrow. I put off getting braces all my life and now I will also be an adult with braces. Your son should be proud, taking care of it while he is young, smart move! Cheers! Desiree, I'm so happy that you made a journal like this. I'm getting my braces in like 3 weeks and I feel alot better since you have talked me through everything. I'd like to give you props. Great job done, thanks a bunch. :)

I'm so proud of your son for getting his top braces. It's quite a bummer that it had to be close towards christmas, but his teeth do look straighter. I wish him some good luck on getting his bottom braces in march.
