Little Italy San Jose - Mike Ricci of the San Jose Sharks Salutes Banner

August 21, 2011 - On a beautiful Sunday afternoon in Downtown San Jose's Little Italy district, former San Jose Shark Mike Ricci was honored with a banner. Mike speaks about growing up Italian and how his father was his motivation in becoming a successful hockey player. Grazie (thanks) to the San Jose Sharks who sponsored this special banner for Mike. Mike's banner (along with 21 other local Italian heroes) is visible nearby the HP Pavilion, along the Guadalupe River trail in between W. St. John and W. Julian St. Little Italy San Jose in a 501c3 Organization who is restoring San Jose's original Italian settlement by recruiting Italian businesses to open in the new district. I didn't relalize what they were until i caught them ... bugger probably doesn't remember either...it was kinda funny though ...Peterborough is still proud of you Ricci and i think we did alright pronouncing your name ...
