Great work here! It's by far my favourite johnson solo, it's so well written it's like a piece on it's own. Do you have a video of johnson playing this live? I would kill for a copy!

wow your sound and playing are just like his. how did get the fingering and amp sound to be so similar? was it always intentional?

Thanks Wiley - imitation is greatest form of flattery isn't it? Eric is an incredible musician and I am still miles away from him. Re the fingering, I work out his solos by ear but I'm pretty sure I get a decent chunk wrong anyways. My sound is intentionally made to be close to his because I love the violin tone. It's really the only tone/sound I like on electric (when it comes to overdriven sounds).

You're right ssvr, this song is really beautiful and Eric Johnson is one the best guitarist around.
