In May of 2008 the Nuba Mountain Community in Sudan came together to celebrate the arrival of a tractor for their community. The tractor was a gift from refugees who had left Nuba Moro during the war. They came to the United States, but have not forgotten the needs of those in their homeland. Twenty years of war left their village impoverished. The tractor means food production as well as a income to barter for specific needs. On this day, over 500 people gathered to celebrate. In part 2 of the video from this day, Yaunis Andindi's remarks to those gathered are are featured in an edited form.
