A GREAT GUITAR VERSION OF HOME SWEET HOME PLAYED BY OUR NEW FRIEND LARRY AT THE DENTON 2010 FESTIVAL. HE REALLY HAS GOT A SWEET VERSION OF THIS SONG ARRANGED IN D-TUNING BACKED UP WITH LITTLE BANJO D-TUNER WORK. ONE OF THE FEW ORIGINAL 5-STRING 24' BACON AND DAY MONTANA SILVER BELL #3'S IN EXISTENCE...
Great Job!! My Uncle and I used to play this (he's been gone a long time). He played 'Siver Bells' on the mandolin and I played 'Home Sweet Home'. Both songs have identical chord patterns. Then half way thru we would swap and he'd play 'Home' while I played 'Silver.' Ya'll should give it a try too. I'd really love to hear it.

Is this version considered "Piedmont Style"? Our Grandfather played a Peidmont version of Home Sweet Home from back in the 40's. Then our Uncle Steve renewed it, but and he suddenly passed away a few years back before I fully composed the song. This version is similar to what the family remembers. Larry and Denton do a great job and lively version the way the song was meant to inspire. thanks Tom
