Who are the NUS? Been at uni now for 3 years, they may as well not exist! Hearing their views, they don't represent me!

this protest, like past ones, will have no affect on the level of tutition prices and is likely to cause even greater cost to the government, resulting in less money to be spent where it is really needed. People complain of government cuts and increased taxes, but protests such as this one only strain the government even more and make live more difficult for everyone. i understand people are annoyed/frustrated at the economic climate/government but sometimes they need to be left to do their job.

as much as i would love for this demo to have an impact on the tuition fee's as they are ridiculously expensive and no matter what the govt say most students cannot afford it which is stopping them from fulfilling their potential, but i really have a bad feeling about this that it is going to be ruined once again by pathetic individuals that will try and cause violence like the ones last time.

Due to the fact that I have already put in my student finance for the 9 grand each year and there has not been that much change in applicant figures I am sorry to say that I disagree with the 2012 demo eventhough I was totally for the last one I just don't want anymore innocent people getting hurt by rouge protesters. Good luck to all those on the protest, I respect you. Stay Safe! :)
