Well, it's only my opinion. You are right about sound quality. But what clashes, in my ears, is the pitch and single note style of the guitar play its closer to a lead line than rhythm support. Two lead instruments at similar intensity and similar pitch is an overload for me.

Sorry but I disagree with you. I've heard Charlie with Chris Anderson (a friend of mine) and this guitar player. They are both good. Two different apporachs of course. This video hasn't a good sound quality and it's hard to have the right idea of what's going on on stage. I like today Charlie's band as I liked the one of Delta Hardware. They are great!

Pity the lead guitar can't hear that he is clashing badly with Charlie's harp in fact the guitar sounds like he's trying to play Pink Floyd's 'Wish You Were Here'. Charlie sounds better with Kid Anderson supporting his sound.
