I imagine it might be too delicate to move; so wherever you build this thing is where it's gonna stay! Next time I'm at the Lego store I'm going to pickup the box to see how much it weighs! By the way, what do you do with? There goes $500.00! Haha!

Actually, it's quite sturdy and can be carried with one hand by grabbing the center support structure through the top gun turret. But yes, it does weigh quite a bit at 25 lbs. I've moved it to my place of business and through a few office moves and have never needed to rebuild or repair any part of it.
As for price, it's a collectible and it's not outside the realm of possibility for it to appreciate in value after being discontinued. In the meantime, it's a great show piece. :)
