I had his parents and he almost froze to death when they stopped caring for him. I gave all the other birds away but kept Scooter

But why is it dummy ? This still can have babies, right ?

yes, they CAN have babies, but I don't let them raise any and the birds would be a mix of Satinette and Homer. I don't have the room to keep mixed breed birds.
