You misrepresented something on your list. When you where "showing" the ineffective melee attacks from FF1. It wasn't because they where immune to the attack. It was because you targeted a monster that had died previously and back in that game if you targeted a creature with an attack (even magic) and it died the other attacks didnt switch to a new creature.
