you must have played a faulty game then. mine works fine. i havnt had any items or ammo vannish or my menu bar pop up when i dont want ot too. must be the disk you played

I totally agree with ending up using your healing item accidentally, it happened to me and I was in the fight with the Porcelain Doll. And the camera in that fight did not help me either, especially when she was lungeing at me from the celing. After 3 tries, I got her and I only had a teeny tiny amount of health left. One more swipe from her and I would have to do it (and get annoyed) all over again.
