Ford/Arthur- Take Me Away

This is my first slash fan-based video, and I chose to make it of one of my favorite slash pairings, Arthur Dent and Ford Prefect of The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy series. As you will see I used both still images and video clips because.... I can. If slash is not your thing, then by all means turn back. If you DO like slash, I hope i did a well enough job on the video to satisfy your needs!! Comments accepted. Flames ALSO accepted, but if they are only put up to try and hurt my feelings, it wont work. Just warning you ahead of time.

It's so adorable! And yeah, it did work well. God, I keep coming back to watch this. xD I like 2:36 - the way Ford grabs the lapel of Arthur's dressing gown. I mean, really, you don't just grab people's clothes like that. There's something behind it.

lol hell yea they are!! Exactly what I was trying to say... but alas ran out of characters lol.

When I watched the movie and Trillian used the POV gun (which I was a little broke brained about) to express her love for Arthur I yelled at the tv screen. I was like "DUDE WTF?!?!"

The Arthur/Trillian broke my brain a bit. I love Trillian/Zaphod, they're so self absorbed and glorious.

I LOVED DAVID DIXON IN THAT ROLE!!!!! (hence my copious uses of him in my video) You are right, noone could ever take his place as the rightful Ford Prefect.

And you are definitely right about Zaphod's heads.... when I saw him I was like WTFF WHERE"S THE SECOND HEAD?? and then it pops out of nowhere. TERRIBLE! His ACTING as Zaphod was good, but the heads sucked. And Trillian was too nice, she needed to be more airy and snotty. She isn't supposed to fall in love with Arthur!!!! *rages*

Totally agree with you on the movie. I like Mos Def, but he's not Ford. David Dixon (tv Ford) just embodied the rold, imo, there was no way ANYONE could have stepped into his shoes. There were a lot of things that bothered me about the film actually. Zaphod's heads was a huuuge bone of contention for me.

Oh ....ok! I thought the radio was a spin off of the books, my bad! So thats good to know!! ^_^

Ok so it was radio FIRST, then books, TV show (which I think Ford is absolutely adorable in that!) and then movie.... not so much awesomeness. I really wasn't completely happy with the movie (sorry but I didnt like Mos Def as Ford Prefect.)
