Sorry, but I've got a problem with the narration. I know that crossing, and if you are new to the area, it's very easy to misjudge the crossing. Yes the driver should have waited, but wording it as if it was some pill jockey is un fair to the driver.

No. Actually it is acceptable to go single space. And of course given the character limitations imposed by YouTube removing extra spaces is customary.
