@maya0mex What? Where's the lies? What are you talking about? Nobody is saying guns aren't dangerous. This isn't about how dangerous guns are. That's a no-brainer. It's about how people give credibility to someone who blatantly lies. Do you really want to give someone's dishonesty a pass just because you agree with their end message?

Micheal Moore does a great job. You dont like the truth, cause it hurts. Guns kill people, because they are so easy to get in the USA. Easier than anywhere in the world. Wheres the lies?

Moore's overall point in the film has little to do with this segment, but I am glad that you have pointed out that "documentary" film is a text - it is crafted, produced, and highly rhetorical. Nevertheless, the key take away from the film is that US "news" media uniquely inspires a fear of violence for viewers - and this results in higher gun sales - so is that the answer to why we have such huge gun violence stats? Not really an anti-gun message at all - more of an anti-"news" media message.
