There's a pretty nice "new" Guaraldi version of this song on an album called "Vince Guaraldi and the Lost Cues from the Charlie Brown TV Specials". It's understated and short, but pretty cool. The "Charlie Brown Suite" version is ambitious, but marred by out-of-tune bass and an uncertain orchestra. (I am praying for the Suite to be well-recorded someday by well-rehearsed and in-tune musicians.) And then there's the George Winston version - sparse but to the point.

I wish there was a properly recorded Guaraldi Trio version of this somewhere to be found. I hate that stupid electronic keyboard on 'Oh Good Grief' which is the only place a Guaraldi version can be found outside of the actual tv series.
